Chicken Fillets filled with Halloumi Cheese E-mail



  • 4 Pieces of Chicken breast fillets
  • 8 slices of Halloumi Cheese
  • 4 pieces of Ham or Bacon
  • Butter or olive oil
  • Toothpicks



Wash chicken breast fillets and carefully cut in the middle so as to provide a pocket, do not separate the pieces.
Insert two pieces of Halloumi cheese into the chicken fillet pocket.
Wrap the bacon or ham on the outside of the chicken fillet and secure with a toothpick.
Place all filled chicken breast fillets into a baking dish and lightly cover with butter or olive oil.
Bake in a medium oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes until they have a golden colour.
Serve with a salad or fresh vegetables for an enjoyable and healthy meal for all the family.
